Learning Communication Skills

Primaries 2, 3 and 4 were learning about communication, an important life skill. They had to share information and listen to other people. To begin with pupils played 'Find someone who...'. Then they formed groups and worked as a team to decorate a letter. Next each member of the team went to collect information about a game that we can play at the Christmas Fayre. Finally the pupils returned to their groups and shared the information to each other by communicating effectively.
Well done everyone for all the hard work!
A special thank you to Heather, Severin, Max and Kyle from the Community and World of Work Hub for helping with this lesson.

Career Information Session P.5 - P.7

Pupils in Primaries 5, 6 and 7 were given a fantastic opportunity to learn more about 'The World of Work' after a presentation from Amanda Bennie. Pupils in Primaries 5 and 6 played a game of bingo related to different job roles and drew pictures about their dream jobs. Primary 7 pupils thought about their ideal job and the skills they would require to do them. They also participated in a quiz to find invisible job roles from a picture.
A big thank you to Amanda for giving these pupils such a worthwhile experience.
